Privacy Policy

Summary
Ranasi helps you autofill web forms from forms you manage on your device. Basic autofill stays local in your browser. Pro / Enterprise / Ultimate license checks and optional server AI fill use our API at https://api.ranasi.com. We do not sell your data. Data stored on your device
Forms and fields (including typed values), theme/settings, desktop site shortcuts, and a cached license status are stored with browser extension storage on your computer. Enterprise and Ultimate file, image, multi-attachment, signature, and JSON field payloads stay on your device. Card or payment fields you put in a local form stay on your device for local Basic fill and are not sent to Ranasi server fill.
Data we process on our servers
When you activate or validate a license, we receive your license key and a generated instance name/id so we can enforce activation limits. When you use Server AI fill (Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate), we receive the license key, instance id, form field metadata, and non-card field values needed to suggest mappings. We use this only to provide the feature and related rate limits. Form Test at forms.ranasi.com reads your plan from the extension and does not save filled values on the Form Test site.
Optional third-party AI
If you enable “use my OpenAI key” in Settings, form and profile data for that request are sent to OpenAI under your own API key and their policies. This path is optional and separate from Ranasi Pro server fill.
Website
The website at https://www.ranasi.com may process license validation requests you submit on the Activate page through the same API. Checkout for Pro is handled by our payment provider (e.g. Paddle) under their privacy terms.
Homepage scan-to-fill
The public demo on the homepage and Scan ID in the extension can read a photo you choose (or a labeled SAMPLE card we render) to extract identity fields. The image is processed once for that request and is not stored on Ranasi servers. Extracted values stay on this device (homepage session or a saved form). Prefer the sample card on a shared screen. Do not upload someone else’s ID. Optional “try your own form” fetches a public URL you paste to read field labels only — we do not log the page body. Login-walled portals are filled in the open tab; we do not fetch that HTML. Rate limits apply on the public demo.
Document scan
Enterprise and Ultimate can send a document photo or PDF (invoice, purchase order, receipt, contract, or similar) once to api.ranasi.com to extract labeled values. The image or PDF is not stored. Extracted values stay on this device as a form. This path is not on the public homepage demo (that demo is ID/passport only) and is not available on Free, Basic, or Pro.
Permissions
Ranasi may use storage, tabs, history, and host access so it can save your profile, detect the active page, rank frequently visited desktop sites for the new tab, and fill forms on websites you visit. We do not sell browsing history.
